Celebrate Canadian Multiculturalism with DiverseCity - PEI's largest, family-friendly, free, outdoor, street festival held June 30th 2012 on Victoria Row in Charlottetown!
Come and experience a range of cultural offerings from recent newcomers to PEI—there will be great music and dancing; new displays; cultural activities like henna hands, African bao game and Chinese mah-jong; Global Jam with drum circle; a visual arts display; martial art demos; kids’ crafts like facepainting; and delicious international food from ten different vendors! There will also be a new cultural handcrafted-art display and sale area this year highlighting some newcomer artisans!
The big highlight and closing act will get you dancing from 8:30pm to10:00pm to the great Caribbean sound of The Count and the Cuban Cocktail!
