The PEI Marathon is an annual event with various levels of participation that entices participants from across PEI, Atlantic Canada and parts of the US. The course is described as having rolling hills and one of the most scenic marathon routes.
Marathon begins Sunday October 14 at 8:00 am at the Brackley Beach Complex in Prince Edward Island National Park. The 42k run through scenic Queen's County, PEI finishes with crowds of cheering spectators as runners get a spectacular view of Province House National Historic Site in Charlottetown.
The Kids Spud Run presented by PEI Potato Industry is a FREE event for kids up to age 14 held at the UPEI Canada Games Track on Saturday, October 13th at 11am. The Fun Run is a 1 km route, which is two laps around the UPEI Canada Games Track.
